Cascade Lean Consulting is a consulting company focused on bringing lean expertise to small and medium sized businesses.

Across a wide range of industries, companies of all sizes have produced excellent results through implementing lean. Reductions in space, inventory and defects of 50% or more are not uncommon. Even leading edge Porsche reduced defects by 95% in its cars during the 1990's by going lean.

Large companies have their own internal lean consulting teams to help them continuously improve, reduce costs, strengthen quality, and keep ahead of the competition. These groups are a key part of their operations.

Yet, as a small to medium-sized business, you can't support fulltime lean staff. This is where Cascade Lean comes in. We will bring you big company lean experience and knowledge at a fraction of the cost of hiring full time employees.

About Chris Waldorf, Founder & President

Cascade Lean was founded by Chris Waldorf. Mr. Waldorf has two decades of experience in management consulting and lean in the United States and Eastern Europe. He started off his career with Deloitte & Touche, one of the global leaders in management consulting, and rose to become a senior manager responsible for the Mid-Atlantic region. During his time with Deloitte he also worked on a range of international projects, including over a year spent in Eastern Europe helping manufacturers privatize. On the ground, he has strong hands-on lean experience in both shop and office environments through working for General Electric in their locomotive division and for Genie Industries in Redmond.
